Hey Queers!

Fancy some relaxing and empowering days at the end of the year?
Have you had an exciting, maybe exhausting 2023? Are the holidays a tense time for you? Do you feel like meeting new queer people, sharing and relaxing? Let’s do it together!
We’ll be recharging our batteries for 2024 from December 26-30 at ‚HochDrei‘ in Potsdam. We will explore Potsdam together, maybe take a day trip to Berlin, play games while drinking punch, share (queer) experiences, cook delicious soup or bake cookies, maybe sing into the karaoke mic or throw useless knowledge around at quiz night.
There will be plenty of time for indoor and outdoor activities, but you can also just do whatever you feel like. So feel free to bring your knitting skills and craft materials, your favorite book or your new card game!

Accommodation together with the other participants and food will be provided by us. By the way: You don’t have to be a Lambda member to participate in this event. But we would be happy if you become a member. Also, because then we can reimburse your travel costs up to 60€. Your Lambda Team
The camp is aimed at all queers between the ages of 18 and 26. In total, up to 30 people can participate in the winter camp, among them are 7 teammates. The Team take care of the Orag i.e. the meal planning, they compile a program, but are also responsive with problems. We want the participants to get actively involved. Help is needed, for example, with cooking or cleaning. There will be time slots without a pre-prepared program, where you can contribute with your skills.

Important information

Accommodation: HochDrei Potsdam. You will stay in shared rooms (3-6 beds). It is best to bring your own towels and bed linen or you can rent them for a fee (9,50 €). The toilets are gender-neutral signposted and there is a private bathroom in each room.

How to get there: The Bildungsstätte HochDrei (https://hochdrei.org) is easily accessible by public transportation.

• On foot from Potsdam main station (approx. 20 minutes) or
• By streetcar on lines 93, 94 or 99 to the „Holzmarktstraße“ stop (6 minutes + 2 minutes‘ walk) or
• From S-Bahn station Babelsberg by streetcar line 94 or 99 to stop „Schiffbauergasse/Uferweg“ (5 minutes)

Catering: Full board (vegan, we take into account food intolerances and allergies). The team does the shopping and you are welcome to help with meal preparation, table setting and clearing.

Rooms: There is a seminar room and a group and dining room.

Accessability: There is a wheelchair accessible room with two beds and appropriately equipped bathroom. This is located on the first floor of the new building across from the dining room and kitchen. The other bedrooms are on the floors above. In the annex building is the seminar room, which is accessible via the terrace. Unfortunately, there are no wheelchair accessible restrooms in this building. We plan enough breaks and try to be sensitive in dealing with neurodivergence and for different needs and to create retreat spaces. Please let us know things we should consider in planning so you can be well when you register.

Corona: Please take a Corona self-test before you arrive.

Language: The team members will communicate at the event in German spoken language, the team members can also speak English.

Costs: The event is free of charge for you. Travel costs of Lambda members can be reimbursed up to max. 60 €.
