Zine-Workshop zu Fantasien

In unserem Workshop wollen wir wieder gemeinsam mit euch eine spicy Publikation (aka ein Zine) gestalten. Zines sind selbstgemachte und selbstverlegte, umkommerzielle, autonome Medien, die aus Comics, Illustrationen, Collagen, Fotografien, Lyrik oder deinen hier nicht aufgezählten Lieblingsmedium bestehen können, Hauptsache es lässt sich (schwarz-weiß!) drucken. Thema unseres sexy Workshops sind Fantasien – eure eigenen Fantasien, die einer anderen Person oder sogar die einer Pflanzen.

All fantasies are welcome – außer sie beeinhalten transfeindliche, rassistische oder sexistische Narrative. Ihr seid frei zu entscheiden ob euere Geschichte spicy 100 oder kuschelig-soft wird. Hauptfokus unseres Workshops ist das gemeinsame Schreiben und kreative Ausarbeiten von eigenen Fantasien und den Fantasien anderer Personen.

Dieser Workshop ist für Queers + Questioning. Wir wollen Begehren in den Vordergrund stellen, das bei normativen Begehrensbetrachtungen leider noch viel zu oft unter den Tisch fällt.

Bringt gern eure Lieblingsmaterialien (z.B. iPad, Aquarellfarben, Kamera, deinen allerliebsten Glitzerstift) mit. Für die Basics (Papier, Buntstifte, Fineliner, Kleber, Schere und Collagenmaterial) und Mittagessen sorgen wir 🙂

Ablauf

Der Workshop besteht aus zwei Teilen. Im ersten Teil werden wir gemeinsam schreiben und uns unserer eigenen Fantasie widmen. Im zweiten Teil wollen wir zusammen gestalterisch mit den Fantasien anderer arbeiten. Am Ende steht das Grundgerüst für unser gemeinsames Zine, welches ihr dann in gedruckter, gebundener und geschnittener Form direkt mitnehmen könnt.

Das Team

Wir sind Jule (23, sie/ihr, cis, weiß) und Lis (27, keine Pronomen, nicht-binär, weiß), beide Studis der Visuellen Kommunikation mit Schwerpunkt Illustration und Animation und unser Herz schlägt ganz doll für alles was mit Zines und Comics zu tun hat.

Lis hat vorher schon ein paar Jahre in Hamburg gelebt und Soziologie mit dem Fokus auf Queer Studies studiert und verbringt jetzt einen großen Teil mit dem zeichnen von sexy, queeren Comics und dress to impress spielen.

Jule ist fürs Studium aus Frankfurt nach Kassel gezogen, wo sie Kimya Dawson rauf und runter hört, gerne in Comic Läden rumhängt und immer eine Nasenflöte dabei hat.

Die beiden haben den Workshop bereits drei mal in verschiedenen Kontexten angeboten und freuen sich mit anderen Queers in den kreativen Austausch über Fanatasien zu kommen <3

Zine workshop on fantasies

In our workshop we want to create a spicy publication (aka a zine) together with you. Zines are self-made and self-published, non-commercial, autonomous media that can consist of comics, illustrations, collages, photographs, poetry or your favorite medium not listed here, as long as it can be printed (in black and white!). The theme of our sexy workshop is fantasies – your own fantasies, those of another person or even those of a plant.

All fantasies are welcome – unless they contain trans-hostile, racist or sexist narratives. You are free to decide whether your story is spicy 100 or cuddly soft. The main focus of our workshop is the joint writing and creative elaboration of your own and other people’s fantasies.

This workshop is for queers + questioning. We want to focus on desire, which is unfortunately still far too often overlooked in normative approaches to desire.

Feel free to bring your favorite materials (e.g. iPad, watercolors, camera, your favorite glitter pen). We will provide the basics (paper, colored pencils, fineliner, glue, scissors and collage materials) and lunch 🙂

Procedure

The workshop consists of two parts. In the first part, we will write together and devote ourselves to our own fantasies. In the second part, we will work together creatively with the fantasies of others. At the end we will have the basic structure for our joint zine, which you can then take away with you in printed, bound and cut form.

The team

We are Jule (23, she/her, cis, white) and Lis (27, no pronouns, non-binary, white), both students of visual communication with a focus on illustration and animation and our hearts beat very hard for everything that has to do with zines and comics.

Lis has lived in Hamburg for a few years and studied sociology with a focus on queer studies and now spends a lot of her time drawing sexy, queer comics and playing dress to impress.

Jule moved from Frankfurt to Kassel for her studies, where she listens to Kimya Dawson up and down, likes to hang out in comic stores and always has a nose flute with her.

The two have already offered the workshop three times in different contexts and are happy to get into a creative exchange about Fanatasia with other queers <3
